Today (October 7) is the birthday of popular actress, Laide Bakare. She was born in Lagos (Nigeria), but she is from Ibadan. She holds a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, and she also holds a degree in History and Strategic Studies from the University of Lagos.
The first movie in which she appeared was Adeyemi (1999). Since then, she has gone on to feature in many more movies, some of which are Richie Richie, Ore Meta (The Three Friends), Asiri Owo (The Secret of Wealth), Ki Orun To Wo (Before The Sun Sets), and Okun Omo Iya (Family Ties).
