Today (August 24) is the birthday of star actress, Funke Akindele Oloyede. She is from Ikorodu in Lagos State. She attended Grace Children School, Gbagada in Lagos for her primary school education. She attended Lagos State Model College, Igbo Kuta, Ikorodu for her secondary school education.
She attended Ogun State Polytechnic from where she obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication. She attended the University of Lagos, where she studied Law. In 2009, she won the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the African Movie Academy Awards. Some of her movies are Married But Living Single, MAAMi, The Return of Jenifa, White Hunters, Omo Ghetto, Ladies Men, and Aje Meta.
