Nollywood stars, Ini Edo and Tonto Dikeh have been shortlisted for the Actor of the Year award at 7th edition of The Future Awards. Also shortlisted were OC Ukeje, Ivie Okujaye, and Gideon Okeke. The Independent Audit Committee of The Future Awards will select 3 finalists from among the 5 shortlisted nominees. The eventual winner of the award will be selected by the Board of Judges from among the 3 finalists. The winner will be announced on August 26, at the award ceremony, which will place in Port Harcourt.
