Speaking in a recent interview with HITZ ONTV, popular actress, Shan George revealed that she got into acting to pay her school fees in the university. According to her, about 1996, she gained admission into the University of Lagos to study Mass Communication. However, she did not have money at the time, to pay her fees.
According to the actress, she met Blessing Stevens (nee Eremi), who introduced her to the late Jennifer Ossai. At the time, Jennifer Ossai was about to produce the movie, Thorns of Rose, and she gave her (Shan George) a role in the movie. Today, Shan George is not only an established actress, she is also a producer. Her latest movie, Finding Goodluck, will be in cinemas, September 14.
