Omoni Oboli Foundation recently took underprivileged children from Ecole Divine Nursery, Primary and Secondary School, on a visit to the offices and factory of Chellarams Plc. The idea was to give the children an insight into how milk was made and packaged and to open their minds to the endless possibilities that they can achieve with the right thinking.
The children were given lectures on milk production and packaging by a member of staff. The children were so drawn into the whole process of milk making that one of them said that they would also want to own a milk company. The children were introduced to other possible career paths that they didn’t know of before this visit.
Omoni Oboli Foundation’s goal with this visit was to enlighten the leaders of tomorrow on various ways to become achievers in life for the good of our society instead of thinking towards crime as the only means to achieve success in life due to lack of education or other possible means. Omoni Oboli says that without proper education a man’s options in life are limited resulting in the use of crime as the only channel of escape even when wealth was lurking at their door.
The children had so much fun on that day and were all treated to a month supply of milk to reiterate the importance of daily intake of a glass of milk for a healthier body. They also had other gifts and the staff and management of Chellarams Plc were very warm to the children.
