Today (July 19) is the birthday of star actress, Kate Henshaw. She attended St. Mary Private School, Ajele, Lagos for her primary school education. She attended Federal Government Girls College, Calabar for her secondary school education. She studied Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Laboratory Science (LUTH).
She started acting in 1993, when she landed a role in the movie, When The Sun Sets. Since then, she has gone on to establish herself as one of the major actresses in the Nigerian film industry. Some of her movies are Broken Tears, A Brighter Sun, To Love and to Hold, and Silent Night. In 2008, and she won the AMAA award for her role in the movie, Stronger Than Pain.
