Actress, and producer, Blessing Effiom Egbe will be holding auditions for her upcoming production, Lekki Wives on August 1 through August 2. The auditions will take place at 2, Kassim Oyofo Street, Ajah, Lagos. Blessing Effiom Egbe produced the award winning movie, Two Brides and a Baby.
The Concept
Lekki Wives is part of a larger project known as Naija Wives. Naija Wives aims to mirror the lives of new Nigerian women across various classes. It is made up of three seasons, each consisting of 13 episodes, with Lekki Wives being the first season.
Lekki Wives follows the lives and condition of five women living, visiting, and working in the highbrow Lekki axis of Lagos – Uju, Miranda, Peace, Lovette, and Cleo.
According to Blessing Effiom Egbe, apart from entertainment, Naija Wives aims to deter upcoming wives and ladies from pursuing only the glamorous aspect of life, and to encourage them to have a broader sense of who they are as women.
