Omotola Youth Empowerment Program (OYEP), a charity run by Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has been nominated for The Nigerian Event Awards. The charity was nominated in the category, Best Charity/Cause Related Event for the 20 Widows Makeover program, which it held last year (2011). In memory of her late mother, the actress gave 20 widows a makeover, which included facials, massage, hair and makeup. The widows were also treated to a shopping spree, and they went home with various gifts.
