It was a night of victory for Ghanaian star, Majid Michel at the AMAA awards, which took place at the Eko Hotels & Suites on Sunday (April 22, 2012). He finally won the prestigious AMAA award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, after having been nominated for the award, four consecutive times.
He won the award for the his role in the movie, Somewhere in Africa. In a funny and engaging acceptance speech, he expressed happiness at having finally won the award after having been nominated for the award on four different occasions.
