The nomination night for the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) has come and gone, but the memories will live on for quite some time. The event was held on March 17 at the Kairaba Hotel in Banjul, Gambia and it was attended by celebrities, top government officials and captains of industry from across Africa. Some of those present at the event were Francis Litti Mboge (Gambian Minister of Works), Peace Anyiam-Fiberisima (AMAA CEO), Asantewa Olatunji (AMAA Jury Chair), Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki), Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), Jackie Appiah, Majid Michel, Sonny McDon, and Chico Ejiro.
