Today is the birthday of Nollywood actress, scriptwriter, and producer, Uche Jombo. She is an indigene of Abiriba in Abia State (Nigeria). She attended the University of Calabar, from where she graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics. The first movie in which she acted was Visa to Hell (1998) by Fidelis Duker. Her first lead role came in the movie Adure by Charles Ifediba, and this set her on the course to stardom. However, it was her appearance in the 2006 movie, Games Men Play, which solidified her position as a major actress in the Nigerian film industry.
